Bubble Tea Fever in Singapore
Bubble tea first originated in Taiwan. The reason it is called bubble tea is that the drink comes with black and chewy tapioca pearls. Its popularity has grown tremendously globally and most people call it milk tea. The drink has a variety of flavours, such as wintermelon, matcha, chocolate, lychee, passion fruit, and many more. It can either be served hot or cold depending on the person’s preference.
